Hello Tiger Families!

My name is Amy Thomas, and I am the director of the new 21^st Century Community Learning Centers (21^st CCLC) grant, aka MOST,
that was recently awarded to Moyers School

21st CCLC initiative is the only federal program dedicated exclusively to before-school, after-school and summer learning programs. 
This program encourages partnerships between school and community to target and serve students and families.
While attending MOST, students will engage in academic enrichment in science, art, music and more.
Starting in November, school will be open on virtual Fridays, from 8-2, for students enrolled in MOST that need homework assistance.  

Please know that once enrolled, kids are not obligated to attend everyday. 
We understand that schedules can be hectic and ever changing, therefore,
our program is designed to be flexible and accommodating for everyone.  

Enrollment forms are available in my office, located in the elementary building, if you would like to sign up.

Get ready for some summer fun …

This summer, Moyers Public School will be having its first 21^st CCLC Summer Fun Program.  Our theme will be “Earth to Table” and will include various reading, math, STEM, art, health, P.E., and social studies activities.   

The program will begin June 3^rd and last until June 28^th, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Transportation will also be available at certain pick-up/drop-off points.  These points will be determined after all student enrollment has been received.

Due to the need for accurate numbers for planning and preparations, enrollment forms MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED ON OR BEFORE APRIL 9; these forms will be sent home on Monday, March 25.
